Text messages from Scry Labs

Scry Labs LLC is a small software studio in California. In Davis, we build one-page websites for local businesses at yolo.design. Dash, the owner, sometimes texts business owners from our business number, (530) 203-6111. This page explains what those texts are, how you agree to them, and how to stop them.

What we text

• The link to a demo website we made for your business, when you ask for it.
• Setting up a call or a visit to go over your website.
• Updates on a website project you have with us, and answers to your questions.

Each text is written and sent by a person, one conversation at a time. We do not send bulk promotions, and we never text numbers from bought or rented lists.

How you opt in

We only text you after you agree, in one of three ways. These are all of them.

1. The form on yolo.design. At yolo.design/#contact, the "Text me the preview" form asks for your name, business and mobile number. Next to a check box that starts unchecked it says:

   The box is optional. If you leave it unchecked we call you and never text. See the form: screenshot of the form.
2. On a phone call. If you ask us to send you a link or details, we ask first:
   What we say"Can I text that to this number? It comes from Scry Labs at (530) 203-6111. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop the texts."
   We text only after you say yes, and we record the date, the time and the number you agreed for.
3. By texting us first. Our number, (530) 203-6111, is on yolo.design and on our postcards: a postcard as printed. Cards printed from now on carry the line "Texting 530-203-6111 means you agree to texts from Scry Labs LLC about your website. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Not a condition of purchase. scrylabs.io/sms" (picture). If you text us, we reply once in that conversation with the first text below, and send nothing else unless you answer.

Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything from us.

How we keep the record

Every form submission is saved with the date and time, your number, whether you checked the box, and the exact wording you saw. We note a phone consent the same way: date, time, number, who asked. A number with no consent on file is never texted.

Our first text

How often

Message frequency varies with your conversation, usually no more than a few texts a week. Message and data rates may apply.

Stop or get help

• Reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) to stop all texts. We send one text confirming you are unsubscribed, then nothing more.
• Reply START to start again.
• Reply HELP for help, call (530) 203-6111, or email dash@yolo.design.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number stays private

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with anyone for their marketing. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties. Details are in our Privacy Policy. The Terms cover the rest.
